This policy describes how Headlight Labs, LLC (“Headlight“, “we“) handles information when you use Headlight’s connector for Claude, Anthropic’s AI assistant, at https://mcp.headlight.co/mcp. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
You sign in with your Headlight client portal account, and the connector can only read data for the clients that account belongs to.
What We Collect
The connector is read-only. When Claude asks, it reads your clients’ analytics from Headlight’s Looker instance. It never sees your Claude conversations, memory or files, only the requests Claude makes to its tools. For each request we record your portal user ID, the Claude application that made it, the tool used, the client asked about, whether it succeeded (and the error, if it didn’t), the number of rows returned and how long it took. We do not record the results. Our hosting provider also records standard request information, such as IP address.
How We Use It
Only to operate and secure the connector and to answer clients’ questions about who accessed their data.
Sharing
The results of each request are returned to Claude so it can answer you, and are then handled by Anthropic under its privacy policy and your Claude account’s settings. The connector runs on Google Cloud (privacy notice), and the analytics are held in Looker, a Google Cloud product. We do not share connector data with anyone else except where required by law.
Retention
Request records are kept for 400 days, and standard request information for 30 days, then deleted. You can disconnect the connector in Claude’s settings at any time.
